Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche has advised Lama Bruce to teach on the six bardos, the stages of transition of life, death, and beyond. In order to honor Rinpoche’s wishes, Bruce is offering a book-study class on Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche’s book, Mind Beyond Death. Venerable Ponlop Rinpoche lives in America and teaches directly in fluent English bringing clarification, meaning and depth to several  ancient, traditional texts taught by Padmasambhava and other great masters of Tibet on the subject of the bardos.

Mind Beyond Death shows us how the bardos can be used to conquer death and realize the luminous, enlightened awareness that permeates all experience. Exploring all six bardos demonstrates that the secret to a good journey through and beyond death lies in how we live.

Our class will be small and will feature discussion of the material which we hope will be lively and illuminating!
