When 33, I was introduced to Tibetan Buddhism and experienced its power but found it a “hard entry” and so immersed myself in other contemplative practices. Twenty-three years later, the right Tibetan teacher “hooked me” for good but I struggled to make sense of the teachings. Also, trying to find my place in the local, small town sangha culture was painfully disorienting. Floundering, I fled. By chance, I found myself in Lama Bruce’s neighborhood and signed on for his first Marig Munsel course. How I value his ability to make dharma user friendly. For twenty-plus years now, Lama Bruce has remained an invaluable teacher and friend. I heartily recommend Marig Munsel to practitioners.
